Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Assistant, Law Students provides administrative support to the law school student hiring processes. This includes coordinating recruiting and event logistics for these groups as well. The Talent Acquisition Assistant, Law Students works under direct supervision and relies on instructions and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the full-cycle recruiting process for law student candidates in all U.S. offices, including pulling resumes, scheduling interviews and maintaining the applicant tracking system
- Coordinate the law student recruiting process through on-campus recruiting registration, creating interview schedules, gathering interviewer feedback, facilitating the callback interview process, and communication with candidates
- Manage online application system to include entering candidate applications and pipeline notes, processing applications, uploading documents, and sending status update communications
- Oversee candidate travel, student reimbursements, and expense reconciliation.
- Assist with the planning and administration of the 10-week summer associate program, including attending events
- Assist with organizing and executing on-campus and off-campus law student recruiting events, including preparation, coordination, and event management tasks; may also attend events as needed.
- Schedule departmental meetings and plan event logistics, including booking conference rooms, ordering food and beverages, sending out event meeting requests and preparing meeting materials and documents
- Process departmental expense reports and check requests
- Handle additional department administrative responsibilities and support special projects as needed
- Assist offices with post-season reporting which may include pulling and analyzing metrics, reviewing survey results, preparing interview outcome reports, and updating school summaries
- Understand Firm policies, procedures and client service expectations in order to troubleshoot questions, problems or concerns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise discretion, good judgment, flexibility, and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role
- Ability to provide professional, responsive, and high-quality client service to both internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively as a proactive and reliable team player
- Receptive to feedback and dedicated to ongoing professional development
- Must have flexibility to work overtime as needed, particularly from May-August

Target Hiring Range $59,300 - $70,000

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
